Impact of Photometric redshift on SNAP

Abstract:

I discuss the effects of photometric redshift (photo-z) errors on cosmological constraints from weak lensing and baryon acoustic oscillations. Having defined the parametrization of photo-z errors, I address the photo-z precision requirements for the SNAP galaxy survey. Finally I discuss the size of the spectroscopic galaxy sample needed to calibrate the photo-z errors.
