Travel
The conference will pay your per diem and lodging for the three days you
are in Berkeley for the meeting. We'll book your hotel room for you. We
have reserved blocks of rooms at the Hotel Durant (near the UC campus)
and the Marina Doubletree Inn (at the Berkeley marina). Descriptions are

let us know if you have a preference. Bus service will be provided to

Visas
If you are not a US citizen or resident and are not already in the US,
please make sure that you obtain a B1 visa or a WB (waiver for business)
so that your living expenses can be reimbursed. If you will travel to
the US under the Visa Waiver Program, please see this
page for passport requirements. If you need to apply for a
B1 visa, we can provide a letter to support your application. Please contact
pbar@lbl.gov.
